The Stage is Set.

You can't shut a good man up.

One by one, the loyalists exited the arena. Not for any other reason that the sound system was acting up. I guess, it began a cycle. With the amps sucking, the talent refused to perform and the audience refused to stay. They went back home, constantly checking the live coverage online for nothing more than a few beats and lines from the chorus. The star was content with small doses of attention, but admittedly, he sought more.

But he lost hope. He ran out of lyrics and even the roadie had to go and pack. And just as the microphone was about to be turned off, a voice from the upper rafters was heard. He looked up, and there, in the nosebleed seats, stood the real loyal groupies - the ones without limited resources, but would sell their children just to see their idol, even if he looks like a termite from where they can afford. And as the performer looked to them as they gave him the applause they know he deserves. He points to them with his right, gives them a nod and head for exit stage right. But as the curtain closed, the true loyalists, without a second to lose, began chanting their idol's name.

And so, the encore was born.

Chill.
